Yilin and I took a bunch of pictures to show off the hat that Yilin had knit and to take advantage of a picture book deal. I set up a quick little 'studio' by placing a white blanket over our papasan chair, pointed at the window, and lit the rest of the scene with a bounce flash off the ceiling. All pictures were taken at F5.6 1/100s ISO 400.

These pictures really amazed me both in terms of well the scene was lit and how the emotion was captured. What do you think? Would you pay to have me take your family pictures?
